Lately I've been doing a lot of paintings inspired by songs and music; it just plays such a big part of my inspiration. When I draw pr paint I can't have quiet, there has to be some sort of noise, whether it be music or just a movies playing in the background.

This painting is inspired by one of my favorite bands: Saviour Machine, the song is titled: The Mask. [link] (Mostly when I hear this band, I think of Hellraiser. lol)

It was such fun designing Snape's Death Eater mask, I decided to give it the beak-nose to allude to (not just his real nose guys! XD) plague masks; I think they're so neat and creepy looking. And the "stitch marks" hint at him being a spy and having to hide the most secrets.

Yes, I know the mask and hand look big, that's only because I was putting them in the foreground while Snape is further back, hence Snape being more in shadow.
