Seeking Comfort

Yes, another Harry Potter painting. XD
This time it is of everyone's favorite Potions Master: Severus Snape. <3 Seriously, who doesn't love him? lol

A little idea I've had in my head for a couple of days now. Snape is feeling the burden of his situation, and is noe being comforted by his patronus. It almost feels like Lily is right there with him.

Yeah, I know, I'm a total sap! X3

This is probably the hardest thing I've ever painted. Snape was easy enough, not a whole lot of color going on. The doe was surprisingly easy to sketch out (I'm not too good with four-legged things). However, it was painting the doe and making it look like it was made of light was the hard part. I had to blend and re-blend so many times; I even smeared it at one point! I nearly killed myself over that damn doe! DX But it finally worked out (after much blood and tears). The background is a little plain for me, but I think the pretty tendrils of light will distract you from that. lawl
