A scene from the first book of The Guardiansseries by Wlliam Joyce. The diamond dagger that had imprissoned Pitch deep within the earth is gone, and now the nightmare king rises once again to destroy all that is good and pure.
Well, it's my interpretation of it at least. Lol
I wanted it to appear of if he is reforming himself into the form he is most familiar with. And he is not ust looking up at the moon, he is also sniffing the air for the good dreams of children. Does that creep you out?
